Join a radio broadcast to share your thoughts on science and technology

The Greater Manchester Older People's Network would like to invite you to take part in a radio broadcast with Sonder Radio. This will be an online discussion programme exploring what science and technology might mean for people as they get older. It will be an opportunity to hear about your hopes and fears and to engage in debate.

Anyone aged 50+ living in Greater Manchester can take part. You don’t need to have any experience, just some thoughts about the subject and a willingness to take part. The radio show will be led by a Sonder Radio presenter and will take place on Zoom on 18th August, 1-3:30. Participants will be offered a £25 high street voucher for their time. All you will need to take part is a Wifi connection to access Zoom.

Sonder Radio is happy to supply equipment for participants for the radio show and we can provide support to access zoom if needed.

If you are interested in taking part or if you would like to find out more such as how to access Zoom, please contact GMOPN by emailing GMOPN@macc.org.uk or telephone 0161 834 9823.

The session will be used to support the Nuffield Council on Bioethics’ project on the future of ageing. If being on the radio is not for you but you would still like to contribute to the Nuffield Council on Bioethic’s project on the future of ageing you can find out about other ways to get involved here.
